The Exceptions Monitor application automatically monitors the status of shipments. A smart alert notifies you of shipping exceptions, such as delays, failure in delivery, partial shipments or in-transit changes.
Exceptions stay "active" state until are cleared. Users can manage exceptions by assigning various states and comments to track the resolution process, i.e. who did what and when. The system can also be configured to take certain automated steps when an exception occurs.
The output of this module is in standard XML format so that it can be delivered to a variety of devices, such as desktop browsers, e-mail applications and handheld wireless devices.
Exceptions Monitor coupled with Visibility Network provides a powerful tool for managing by exception.
